Wharepapa South School is a small rural school nestled among a spectacular scenery of farmland and volcanic rock.  

Our History

First established in 1936, Wharepapa South School was a native school held somewhere down Owairaka Valley Road. In 1939, the students and staff moved to the school's current location.
